Happy May! We've been enjoying seeing all of the California Poppies blooming everywhere lately. One of my favorite times of the year. May is a busy month - with Teacher Appreciation Week, Mother's Day, and Memorial Day. Thank you to our amazing teachers. Happy Mother's Day to all of our moms, aunts, grandmas, and special friends. As we remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country, thank you for your service.
Who else is counting down the days till summer break? I know it's not just me! The kids (and I) need a break from those screens and can't wait for summer to get here!
While things might not be quite like they were pre-COVID, it's looking like it may be better than last year. We still don't really have any in-person events, but I am definitely keeping an eye out for them to start popping up. However, we still have lots of great places to explore in Fremont, Newark, and Union City!
