A few weeks ago my family was invited to enjoy Great America for the day. We got to spend the day at the park and took a tour of Boomerang Bay. As always, it was a great way to spend our Sunday.
This year, Great America has expanded the Planet Snoopy kids area. They added three additional rides that parents can enjoy with their kids. Planet Snoopy also boasts two kid roller coasters! My kids LOVE the new Peanuts 500 racers and rode it over and over again.
Great America has some great shows! 40 Seasons of Summer, a musical throwback, Aerial Ice Extreme, a high-energy, aerial, stunt and ice show with incredible skaters and acrobat gymnasts and Charlie Brown's Happy Campers are a few of our favorites this year.
Don't miss the fireworks - every Friday and Saturday all summer long! And another of my kid's favorites - Friday Family Flicks! Every Friday in June they will be showing a fun, family movie to enjoy. Check their website to see the schedule.
