This week, a few friends and I were invited to visit Chuck E. Cheese’s in Newark to try out their new all-you-can-eat buffet lunch. We arrived at about noon and the kids were super excited to be having lunch with their friends at Chuck E. Cheese's.
The buffet had 5 types of pizza (meatball, Hawaiian, bacon, pepperoni and cheese), two different salads (green salad full of tomatoes and cucumbers and Caesar salad) and an apple cinnamon dessert pizza. The pizzas were super hot and quickly replenished as they were gobbled up and the salads were very fresh and tasty. Even the kids enjoyed the salads! Honestly, I have to say, the pizza was so much better than I expected. It tasted fresh, hot and flavorful.
With the price for the buffet lunch at the Newark location being just $6.99 for adults, $4.99 for kids 3 to 10 years old and free for 2 and under, we all felt that it was a good value for a fun lunch out with the kids. The buffet lunch is from 11am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. We will definitely be back for the buffet lunch!
Now on to the fun they had while we were there! The kids had fun playing games together and winning tickets to trade in for prizes. The littlest of our group enjoyed riding the merry-go-round and some other little ride-ons. They all also spent some time crawling around in the tubes and slide and burned a lot of energy! The rides and games were all in good repair and nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Our group of kids are old enough that they enjoyed playing on their own while the moms got to sit and enjoy our lunch and visit with each other. All-in-all, it was an enjoyable afternoon and great lunch! We look forward to returning with friends again soon!
