This week I received some Cetaphil products to try. As a mom who suffers from psoriasis with two kids who have eczema, I was very excited to test them out!

Let’s start with the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. It’s a nice big 16 oz. tub filled with a non-greasy, fragrance-free and non-comedogenic cream and it’s clinically proven to provide immediate, long-lasting hydration. My daughter had a large patch of eczema on her wrist that was scabbed in areas. I used the moisturizing cream on it on that Tuesday morning, then again that night and twice on Wednesday. This morning, Thursday, it was no longer scabbed and barely visible! I also applied this on my son’s eczema patches on his legs one night as he was complaining that they were itchy. The cream helped stop the itchiness and in the morning, it appeared noticeably improved. He has continued to use it the last few days and said that he really likes it. This cream is suitable for moisturizing healthy skin, sensitive skin and skin with conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Needless to say, the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream will always have a place in our cabinet as a dependable moisturizing cream for our family’s overly dry skin.

We also tried out the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths. Both me and my 19 year old tried the ultra-soft gentle cloths – pre-moistened clothes – perfect for cleansing skin and even better for when you are on the go. They moisturize as they clean, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth without stripping the skin of natural protective oils or emollients. They are also fragrance-free, non-comedogenic and perfect for cleansing healthy and sensitive skin. We both were happy with the feeling of our clean skin after use and I love that they are fragrance-free. I’ve used a few that left a strange feeling on my skin or irritated my sensitive skin. The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths do not. Highly recommend them to everyone!

And finally, we tried the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. As an eczema family, this product has been in use at our home for many years and I would totally recommend it to everyone – even those with healthy skin! And I would especially recommend this for cleansing baby’s sensitive bottoms when they have a diaper rash as it soothes and cleanses at the same time. This is a non-soap, non-irritating, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic skin cleanser that also moisturizes as it cleans. It rinses off easily and will not strip the skin of natural protective oils or emollients.  Suitable for cleansing healthy, sensitive, dry and atopic skin.
