Every summer many of our local churches offer free or low-cost Vacation Bible School (VBS) sessions for kids. This is not only a great resource provided to the tri-city community, but it is also a wonderful time for children to learn great social skills and morals, meet new friends, and have lots of fun!

Bay Area Baptist Church "Twists & Turns": July 10 to July 13, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Closing ceremony Sunday, July 16 at 10:30 am with Kona Ice. Children ages 4 years old through 6th grade are welcome. Free program. WAITING FOR 2024 UPDATE.
Bridges Community Church "Kids Summer Camp": July 15 to July 18, 2024, from 8:45 am to noon. Children 4 years old by 7/1/24 through kids entering 6th grade in fall 2024 are welcome. $70 by June 30th (t-shirt included); $80 after June 30th (t-shirt, if available, will be an additional cost).
Calvary Chapel "Scuba": June 24 to June 28, 2024, from 9:00 am to noon. Register today for kids entering 1st through 7th grade.
Centerville Presbyterian Church: Children who are in preschool (3 years old and potty trained) through 5th grade are welcome. $20 per child. No VBS for 2024.
Chinese Independent Baptist Church "Breaker Rock Beach": July 8 to July 13, 2024, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm; extended care available from 3:30 until 5:00 pm. VBS Carnival July 13. Children in kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome. $75 for VBS and lunch is included; extended care available for an additional $10 with snacks included. Registration closes June 23, 2024.
Fremont Community Church "Summer Movie Camp": July 15 to July 19, 2024, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for children in kindergarten through 6th grade for $100 per student.
Grace Church "Heroes in Training Day Camp": July 11 to July 13, 2022, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Children ages 3 to 11 are welcome. Register online by July 5th. $35 registration fee. WAITING FOR 2024 UPDATE.
Holy Spirit "Basic Elements": July 8 to July 12, 2024, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Children in grades 1 to 6 are welcome. Registration begins June 14, 2024.
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Musical Theater Camp: Rehearsals June 25 to June 28, 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Performances June 28 at 6:30 pm and June 30 at 10:00 am. Children ages K through 8th grade are welcome. $125 for one student, $200 for two students, and $300 for three or more students. Snacks provided. Register online.
Hope Community Church "Roar": July 22 to July 26, 2021, from 12:45 pm to 4:00 pm. Children ages 5 to 12 years old are welcome (must speak and understand English). $30 per child (t-shirt included). WAITING FOR 2024 UPDATE.
Irvington Presbyterian Church "Camp Out": June 23, 2023, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, June 24, 2023, 9:00 am to 11:30 am, and June 25, 2023, at 10:00 am. Children in kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome. $10 per child, or no more than $25 per family (scholarships available). WAITING FOR 2024 UPDATE.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish: July 15 to July 19, 2024, from 8:30 am to noon. Children in TK through 5th grade are welcome (child must be 4 by July 2024).
Prince of Peace "Celebrate the Savior": July 22 to July 26, 2024, from 9:00 am to noon. Children ages 4 through those who completed 7th grade are welcome. VBS is free. Register online.
Resonate "Scuba": June 24 to June 28, 2024, from 9:00 am to noon. Children having completed TK to 5th grade are welcome. $35 per child or $70 per family of two children or more.
St. James' Episcopal Church: July 24 to July 28, 2023, from 9:00 am to noon. Children entering TK through 8th grade are welcome. $35/child; $60 for two siblings; and $90 for three or more siblings (late registration will be an additional $10 per child). Camp t-shirt provided.
No VBS for 2024.
St. Paul Methodist Church "Scuba": July 22 to July 26, 2024. Register with the church office Wednesday through Friday mornings.
Tri-City Chinese Baptist Church: July 15 to 19, 2024, from 9:00 am to noon. For ages 3 years old (by June 1st) up to entering 6th grade are welcome. Free VBS. Register online here.
Victory Baptist Church "The Great Jungle Journey": June 3 to June 5, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. For children ages 5 to 12 years old. Free VBS.
Cedars Church "Go Big Day Camp": July 29 to August 2, 2024, from 9:00 am to noon. Kids will explore, do fun crafts/games, and learn about Jesus with a different daily theme. VBS is for children in Pre-K through 5th Grade.
Haven Christian Community Church "Scuba": June 20 to June 23, 2024, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Children in 1st to 6th grade are welcome Register online. Registration ends June 10, 2024.
First Presbyterian Church of Newark: No VBS 2024.
Grace of God Alliance Church: July 15 to July 19, 2021, from 9:30 am to noon. Children ages 2.5 (potty trained) through 6th grade are welcome. $60 for morning VBS; extended care during afternoon program available for an additional $50. No VBS for 2024.
Saint Anne Catholic Church: August 5 to August 9, 2021, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Children in grades 1 through 8 are welcome. $75 for one child; $125 for two children; $150 for three children. WAITING FOR 2024 UPDATE.
Vacation Bible Schools in Fremont, Newark, and Union City are great summer options for the kids to enjoy.
