Description
At their 2nd annual Blooms & Sweets Mother’s Day event, SHEKonnect, a nonprofit organization serving teen girls who have lost their mother, will bring awareness to their mission amidst, while also offering an assortment of family-friendly activities including a Mother’s Day card-making activity, photo booth, crafts, sweet treats, and prize drawings. In addition, all mothers will receive a flower in honor of Mother’s Day.

SHEKonnect is stepping in to help fill the gaps for teen girls growing up without a mother by offering 2-day life skills workshops and partnering with them during sentimental times throughout the year, like Mother’s Day. This free and drop-in event is open to all, though donations toward SHEKonnect’s program and operating costs will be accepted.
