Description
The Christmas season kicks off in Niles with the annual Festival of Lights Parade on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Sponsored by the members of the Niles community and the Fremont community at large, this wonderful holiday tradition features over 60 unique floats and other entries, marching bands, specialty service units, costumed characters, and of course, an appearance by the man himself.
The Tree Lighting will be at 6:00pm and the parade starts at 6:30pm. Don't miss Santa! No chairs allowed until noon on Friday.
Vehicles will not be allowed to enter Niles on Niles Blvd. (off Mission Blvd.) after 5:30pm and NIles will only be accessible via Nursery Avenue and Niles Blvd. from the north during the parade.
