Description
This virtual science program is designed to teach children (Grades 1-4) basic science while having fun. The first half of the program will consist of explanations and the second half will include fun experiments that will help in understanding the theory of each topic. The program will be held on the third Saturday of the month from November through June.
The topics include:
- Refraction-The bending of light and lasers - Nov 20, 2021
- Intro to Periodic Table- Learning the basics of the periodic table and elements - Dec 18, 2021
- Cardiovascular System - Learning about the heart and its functions - Jan 15, 2022
- The Cell - Learning about the building blocks of life- Feb 19, 2022
- Reflection-The bouncing of light and lasers - Mar 19, 2022
- Solar System - Learning about the world around us - Apr 16, 2022
- Nervous System - Learning about what controls us - May 21, 2022
- DNA - Learning what makes us unique biologically - Jun 18, 2022
Seats are limited. Each topic requires a separate registration. The Zoom link will be sent in a separate email 24 hours before the program starts.
