Join us this October as we run and dodge our way to the finish line at the Running Dead 5k Fun Run & Walk.
Come for the run, stay for the Trunk-or-Treat fun! Bring your family and get active with our 5K Fun Run and Zombie challenges before celebrating Halloween with an afternoon of ghoulish games and spooky holiday fun. Tasty treats will be available for purchase at the event, and we welcome all trick-or-treaters and parents to come in costume for the costume contest. Dress to impress!
Costume Contest:
Get into the Halloween spirit and be a part of our costume contest! You will have a chance to win some fun prizes. No need to sign-up. Our judges will be on the lookout for the best costumes starting from 8:30 am-9 am, and a few lucky winners will be announced upon finishing the race. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes for the actual run.
For those kids staying for the Trunk-or-Treat we will hold a second Costume Contest just for that portion of the event! Any youth registered for the race automatically have access to the Trunk-or-treat.
Event details and schedule
The race starts at 9 am at the Union City Civic Center parking lot (34009 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, CA). Registration & Bib Pick-Up starts at 8 am. Please provide a photo ID during Bib Pick-Up.
