The Haunted Railroad takes your family on a fun, spooky (not scary) train ride through the haunted forest at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont. Your entire family will have fun on the haunted rails of the ghost train. This ride is designed for families with children under 12. Live actors play cowboys, pirates, a witch and others; with colorful Halloween inflatables and giant pumpkins in between scenes (nothing will jump out or otherwise frighten young children). Tickets go on sale SEPTEMBER 15 at 8 am on www.eventbrite.com and search for “haunted train.” If there are any unsold tickets, they will be available at the ticket window on event nights only beginning at 6 PM. NOTE: No tickets sold during regular park operating hours. Tickets are $12 for ages 3 and up (ages 2 and under free). The Haunted Railroad operates Fri, Sat & Sun nights on Oct 18, 19, 20; and 25, 26, 27. Trains run every 30 minutes beginning at 7 PM. Full details will be available on Eventbrite beginning Sept 15 at 8 AM. This event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Railroad Museum at Ardenwood operated by SPCRR, in association with Ardenwood Historic Farm.
