Rix park is a great neighborhood park located on Isle Royal Street and Everglades Park Drive.
There is a field on one side with lots of grass and rolling hills to roll down or a new play-structure that just got a new large slide. It’s intended for kids 5-12 with 3 tall slides, swings, and monkey bars. There is great shade under trees close to the playground, and some on the grass to have a picnic or dig in the dirt.
A small paved loop around the play structure is perfect for kids to ride around on trikes, scooter or rollerblade.
