David Jones Park is a fairly recently updated park complete with one large play structure for children age 5-12 yrs. The structure has a few slides, rock climbing walls and two bridges - the best part is no sand or tanbark to deal with. There are also swings, although, none for babies. There is plenty of green space to have a picnic or run the kids ragged. A trip up a short hill will put you on the Alameda Creek Trail for more exploring and fitness opportunity. There is also a full-size basketball court. There isn't much shade so be sure to pack a hat and sunblock if it is a sunny day. There is also no restroom so go before you come. The park is located on a very busy street with ample parking. Great little park if you happen to be in the North Fremont or West Union City area or live close by.
