A new FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team is making waves in Fremont and Union City! Team 25131, the Scarlet Serpents, is recruiting middle and high school students aged 12 to 18 for an incredible journey into the 2024-2025 competitive robotics off-season, INTO THE DEEP.

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is the ultimate Sport for the Mind™, where students collaborate to design, build, and program robots to solve real-world challenges. This year's theme, INTO THE DEEP, encourages teams to dive into ocean-inspired robotics missions while developing critical STEM skills.

- February, March, April: Learn the basics of mechanics, CAD design, and electronics.
- May: Dive into competition preparation and FTC fundamentals.
- June: Develop autonomous and tele-op programming for robots.
- July: Participate in the Lobster Cup summer event to showcase your robot in action!

Technical Subteams
- Manufacturing: Build and assemble robot components.
