No-Bake Cheesy Taco Queso with Meat

Ok, confession time... I LOVE queso... Like ALL queso. Seriously. What's not to love? Cheesy, gooey yumminess served with tortilla chips? If you agree - or even just like cheese dips, try this easy no-bake cheesy taco queso soon! You won't regret it.

No-Bake Cheesy Taco Queso with Meat

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound ground turkey or ground beef
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp taco seasoning (use more or less to desired taste with the meat)
  • 1/4-1/2 cup salsa
  • Milk, added as needed to thin dip, if desired
  • Tortilla chips for serving
  • Optional: Olives, onions, tomatoes, green onion, cilantro

What you do:

  1. Brown the ground meat and add taco seasoning and a little water (follow the instructions on seasoning container).
  2. Stir in the salsa.
  3. Add the cream cheese and shredded cheese and combine.
  4. Once the cheese has melted, if it is too thick for you, add a little milk to thin it out some.
  5. Serve hot with tortilla chips and enjoy!
