Yummy S'mores Dip on the BBQ Grill

A fun summer treat on the BBQ

Everyone loves s'mores, but we spend a lot of time at the pool where we only have access to a BBQ grill which obviously isn't the best option for s'mores. But it's perfect for S'mores Dip! Warm, gooey, and all the flavor of a s'more, but without a fire. 

We've used a cast iron skillet, but have also used a few pie tins or disposable foil pan (perfect to skip any required dishwashing later).

S'mores Dip on the BBQ


  • Graham crackers (enough to line the bottom of your chosen cooking vessel and extras for dipping)
  • 1 1/2 (or more) marshmallows (how many you end up needing will depend on size of baking pan)
  • Milk chocolate chips


  1. Line cast iron skillet, pie tin, or disposable foil pan with graham crackers.
  2. Add a nice layer of chocolate chips.
  3. Cover with marshmallows.
  4. With one side of your grill set to high heat, put your pan of s'mores dip on the side without the heat turned on. This will allow it to cook slower.
  5. Close or cover the grill and cook about 10 minutes until the chocolate is melted and the marshmallows are golden.
  6. Let it rest for about 5 minutes and serve with extra graham crackers.
