Accinelli Park and Fields in Union City is a cute, clean, and fairly new neighborhood park located in the Summer Hill/Talavera housing development off of Lowry Road.
This park has a small basic play structure with a few slides, small poles, teeter-totter, picnic tables, bathroom facilities, and water fountains. There are no swings.
There is a fair amount of open grassy areas to have a picnic or let the kids run off their excess energy. The park also backs up next to a turf soccer field which is generally full of soccer league play - great to watch but be aware of flying balls.
There is little to no shade so be sure to pack a hat and sunblock. Street and neighborhood parking always available although requires a further walk if there is a soccer game going on.
