Frank Fischer Park in Fremont is by far our favorite park for many reasons.
Lush green fields surround 2 separate (but in close proximity) playgrounds - one for children under 5 and the other for children 6 and up on the rubber ground cover. The smaller structure has two slides, mini monkey bars, climbing areas, baby swings and these neat spin around seats that are fun for even grown-ups. The larger structure has a massive climbing web, two large slides, two climbing walls, slider poles and those same neat spin around seats. There is also a climbing dome and four full-sized swings. There is no shade over the play structures so plan accordingly. The park does not have bathrooms, but you will find a water fountain. There are also a good amount of picnic tables, basketball courts and they are an astroturf football field.
