Children’s Innovation Center is a non-profit organization conveniently located in Newark, CA and we serve students from ages 5 to 18 (Grades K to 12). We have a wide range of programs and services from Kindergarten to College-prep. Macaroni Kid readers receive $100 off their first payment so be sure to mention Macaroni Kid when you register.
Children's Innovations Center has come up with a kindergarten-6th grade after school program with a completely new vision. Kids here learn, refresh, create, imagine, and play after school. We offer several enrichment activities in a rotation format covering the whole gamut providing a holistic development of skills.
Our K-6 After School Program is for students ages 5 to 11. The program runs through the school year – Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 6 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM.
The program offers a free subscription to online self-learning computer science and programming courses, in which students can continue learning at home. Kids enrolled also get a free lifetime membership to the online storytelling program by Himsy's Storytelling Club.
The K-6 After School program includes:
- Snacks and drinks
- Lunch for kids arriving between 11 AM and 12 noon
- Several enrichment activities offered in a rotation format - covering a huge gamut of holistic skills development
- All materials needed for these enrichment activities
- Students are expected to complete their homework and work on any long-term projects under the supervision of teachers & teaching assistants
- FREE subscription to online self-learning Computer Science and programming courses - which students could continue learning at home
For additional fees, students can enroll in other advanced programs such as Emerging Coders Program, Music, STEAM courses, 1:1 academic tutoring, etc.
With all this and more, this after school program is completely oriented for kids.
