Imaginook's camps for ages 5 to 12 years old are STEAM based and they are offering Animation Camps for ages 10 and up.
They also teach kids to be creative, independent, and critical thinkers by giving them open-ended questions and assignments. Make summer well spent by registering the kids for one or all of Imaginook's Summer Break Camps. Register by May 15th to save $20.

City Travels STEAM June 17 to 21, 2019
Kids will build two cities with all the infrastructure in them. They will travel from one city to another using newly built roads, bridges or railroad. This camp is highly focused on solving engineering problems.
Time Travel Art History June 24 to 28, 2019
During this week of summer camp, kids will travel through time and space. Students will have a breakfast in a Cave of Altamira, learn about Ancient Egypt, Renaissance inventions, and Modern Art. There will be a lot of hands-on projects to make Art History interesting for kids.
Art through the World Native Arts July 1 to 5, 2019 (no class July 4th)
What is the best way to spend your summer? Of course, it's to travel around the world! The goal is to show kids how interesting each country is through its art. They will discover some unique countries and regions and complete several original art projects for each region. This camp is a 4-day camp.
Around the World in 80 Days Creative Problem-Solving July 8 to 12, 2019
Children can exercise their creativity to its fullest. Children will help Phileas Fogg and his French valet Passepartout to overcome obstacles created by the insidious Detective Fix. Children will create three inventions, costumes, and a play.
Half-Day Option:

Animation Experiments Animation Camp June 17 to 21, 2019
Kids will learn different animation techniques: hand-drawn on paper and iPad, stop motion, and sand animation; and how to use them in their own projects.
Visual Storytelling Animation Camp July 8 to 12, 2019
Learn how to develop and tell your story visually with appealing characters in animation or comics. This camp will help you to understand basics of digital illustration.
Half-Day Option:
Monday through Friday 9 am to 1 pm: $350 per week or $75 per day.
Additional Hours by adding afternoon participation of STEAM camp:
Monday through Friday 1 pm to 5 pm: $75 per week or $17 per day.
Extended care available Monday through Friday 8 to 9 am or 5 to 6 pm: $30 per week or $6 per day.

Young artists can join art classes, where animals can speak and the sky can be red or yellow. Adults can learn how to paint or draw, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee or tea during their Art and Coffee program. Experienced artists can use studio time to create masterpieces of their choosing at their own pace. Families are welcome at workshops and various events at the studio. In other words, everyone is welcome!
You will find kid's art classes, drawing, painting, and intro to oil painting classes for adults and teens with weekly scheduled classes plus a new Preschool Art Class on Mondays at 10:00 am for ages 3.5 to 5 years old. During the Art and Coffee program, you can enjoy some coffee or tea while working on a different project each week with coffee, materials, and directions provided. The workshops are fun and varied. From soap making to holiday crafts and more, there's sure to be something for everyone and the whole family is welcome.
