This past weekend Macaroni Kid was asked to host a screening of the DVD before it's available in stores and we were super excited to enjoy this movie with some friends since the kids and I loved seeing it in the theater.
A story of friendship weaved among our favorite old-school video games of years past and funny internet humor and satire. The sequel to Wreck-It Ralph, Ralph Breaks the Internet takes our favorite characters to the internet. On a mission to fix Vanellope's Sugar Rush game in the arcade, Ralph and Vanellope travel to the internet via a router.
Expect mishaps and hijinks as they venture into the unknown world of the internet. Vanellope ends up in an MMO open-world driving game called Slaughter Race leaving her confused about returning to her own game. Meanwhile, Ralph stumbles into viral video stardom in hopes of earning enough money to purchase the needed part for Vanellope's game.
What I loved most is that it kept my kids entertained and I enjoyed it as well. The satire and humor made for a lot of laughs and I enjoyed watching it again at our screening. Rated PG, there may be some things younger children may not really understand, however, it's a great, family-friendly movie! Get your copy today for your next family movie night!
