Each week local mom, Shawna Johnson, schedules several local play dates for families in the area. All are welcome to join in. Most are in the tri-city area, but now and then they will be in a surrounding community. Put them on your calendar and go meet some new people and visit some new parks or locations with the kids! Here's what is scheduled for this week:
- Wednesday, October 10th from 10:00AM-Noon - Morning Play Date at NewPark Mall Play Area in Newark: Enjoy a fun morning play date at the NewPark Mall Play Area.
- Thursday, October 11th from 12:00PM-2:00PM - Lunch Time Play Date at Park at the Union City Library: Enjoy a lunchtime play date with the kids. Bring a lunch and a picnic to enjoy lunch at the park with friends. There is a sandbox at this park.
- Friday, October 12th from 3:15PM-5:15PM - After School Play Date at Pumpkin Patch at Perry Farms at Ardenwood Farm: Enjoy an after-school play date with the kids at the Pumpkin Patch to celebrate the end of the week. It's free during the week and the kids will love the hay maze, haystack pyramid, play area with tires to climb on, and wooden cutouts for fun photo ops, and of course, lots of pumpkins. Bring a snack if you'd like - there are picnic tables.
