Irvington Community Park Review

December 17, 2017

Irvington Community Park is adjacent to the Irvington recreational center and library (which has limited days/hours, so confirm those before visiting if you want to stop by the library as well).

There are two playground areas, which are within viewing distance of each other, in case you have both toddlers and older kids.

One section looks like a castle with several tall tube slides. There is also a mini climbing wall, jungle gym, and standard swings.

The other section has a short slide with various climbing sections. There are also drums and bouncy "bugs" to climb on and "ride." There are plenty of toddler swings as well. Both areas have rubber cushion ground cover.

There is usually shade, but not always over the benches. There is a faux grass hill that has a ledge to sit on which is perfect for snacks. There are picnic tables in the park, but not right near the playground.

Plenty of parking and restrooms are available.

Irvington Community Park is located at 41885 Blacow Road in Fremont.
