Get Your Hour Back! Natrol Melatonin Review

Time to talk about sleep!

By Jennifer Hill Macaroni Kid Fremont Publisher March 11, 2018

Who’s tired? I’m tired. I’m always tired. In addition to being a mom expected to keep all the required balls in the air, I always feel like I’m running in at least 12 different directions and even if I happen to find myself climbing into bed at a halfway decent hour, I often lay there with a thousand thoughts, ideas, lists, things to add to the calendar, etc. running through my head.

Take last night for example. The kids were in bed and asleep by 8:00, hubby wasn’t feeling great with this cold he’s been fighting and it was cold and rainy so we decided to go to bed just before 9:00. Amazing right? Well, no. Not for me. While hubby turned over and seriously went right to sleep, I just laid there...thinking about our upcoming weekend trip to Tahoe... Where are my snow boots? Where is the box with all of the gloves? What snacks should we bring? Should I pick up stuff to make sandwiches for the drive? Oh! And don’t forget about my hair appointment in the morning and what time is the car service appointment again? And, argh!!! Why can’t I just fall asleep like my husband? This is a typical bedtime scenario for me and I imagine for many of you as well.

Once I do finally fall asleep, it's never peaceful. I feel like I toss and turn a lot and I always get up two or three times each night to use the restroom and then it takes me another 30 minutes or more each time to fall back to sleep. It's an exhausting struggle that I'm sure others can relate to.

I'll give you one guess how great I feel when my alarm jars me awake each morning...yeah, it's not a good way to start my day. So I was very eager to try out Natrol's Melatonin to see if I can improve my sleep drug-free, especially with Daylight Saving Time happening!

Daylight Saving Time can affect your sleep rhythm and routine. Even just a one hour shift in your daily schedule has a meaningful impact on your whole day and ultimately your life and your sleep often becomes a victim of that. Not this year! This year I have Natrol Melatonin on my side. One strawberry flavored fast dissolve tablet just 20 minutes before bedtime and I found myself falling asleep as I was laying in bed quietly talking with my husband - this NEVER happens! I did wake up once to use the restroom but seeing that I drink a ton of water all day long, I don't think I can avoid that completely. But I was able to fall right back to sleep. I even woke up in the morning about 20 minutes before my alarm went off.

I am excited to continue using Natrol Melatonin to help conquer my sleep issues. If you are experiencing sleep issues, having a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep, pick up some Natrol Melatonin - look for the purple bottle. It's 100% drug-free, non-habit forming and is the #1 melatonin brand in America.

Here are some other suggestions for getting through this week after losing an hour:

  1. Get everyone to bed early. The kids, yourself, your spouse. Even 20 or 30 minutes early each night this week will help make each day a little easier.
  2. Set clothes out the night before. Plan outfits for the following day. This is a great habit for the kids to make their mornings easier all year long.
  3. Pack lunches at night. Pack lunches before going to bed each night. Stick the whole lunchbox into the refrigerator to grab in the morning.
  4. Meal Planning. Plan your family's meals several days or a week ahead. Making just one trip to the grocery store and knowing what and when you will be preparing for meals is a time saver.
