Review: Flik Flak

The world's best-selling kids' watch!

My six year old daughter is totally into telling time these days. She loves to be able to tell people what time it is. I was so excited to receive two Flik Flak watches to review and share with my kids!

First a little about Flik Flak. They create high quality watches (water resistant and shock resistant) to survive the adventure of the kids on the playground and beyond. Flik Flak is all Swiss made with a Swiss quartz movement.

They sent me a Disney Frozen and a Disney Planes Fire and Rescue watch. The Frozen watch is adorable! The soft fabric strap has an image of Elsa and Anna together, as well as one of Olaf. The face is sweet and "princess-y" with pink jewels and my daughter LOVES it. The Planes watch has images of Dusty, Dipper, Blade Ranger and Windlifter on the strap and a colorful face and looks cool, too. My son is excited to wear his first watch and loves it. The face of both watches are easy to read and not only have the traditional numbers 1 through 12, but also "minute numbers" from 5 to 60, going by 5's to help kids learn how to accurately tell time on a real watch.

The watches also came with a cardboard clock for learning to tell the time, adding a fun aspect to this educational experience and has a 2 year warranty!

I love the soft fabric straps on these watches and the fact that they actually fit small children's wrists unlike the stiff plastic ones you usually see on kid's watches. They are also machine washable up to 40'! How about that? So Swiss made, shock resistant, water-resistant (3 bar) and machine washable! Totally kid-proof, right?

In addition to several Disney-themed watches, they have many great boy's and girl's watches. They are all so cute!

You can find them on their website and also many stores and in every Swatch store. Their website also has some coloring pages and activities and a video about Flik and Flak to help teach kids to learn to tell time.
