This week I uploaded a free new app for on my iPad: Creatacard, exclusively for iPad. This is not just a card app! This app allows kids and adults to create amazing cards and the results are limitless. You can create your own card or customize one of the many pre-made options they have to choose from. You can even add your own photos! The choices of "writing instruments" are fun and varied and easy to use and include crayons, paint, markers, stickers, stamps and chalk. Once the card creation is complete, you can choose to have it printed as a real paper greeting card for just $3.49 and they will mail it anywhere in the world! How cool is that?!Then comes the part my kids loved: you can track the card's journey from it's creation at the American Greetings factory through the post office and delivery with the "Where's My Card?" option. Here's screenshots of the card that my 5 year old created for her "gramma" this week - so precious!
Grandparents Day is September 7th - what a fun way to use this app for the first time! Surprise some special grandparents and the kids will have fun doing it!
