YAY for Playskool! They’ve outdone themselves again. We received the TRANSFORMERS® RESCUE BOTS PLAYSKOOL HEROES FIRE STATION PRIME Playset to review and my little ones were jumping up and down in such excitement while I unleashed it from the packaging.
Upon release, this playset quickly became the favorite toy in the house! The playset is recommended for children age 3-6 and includes one fireman figure (Cody Burns), Heatwave the Fire-Bot truck (both a fire truck and when used upright, it’s a Transformers® Bot), a firing water cannon which actually fires plastic “water”) and an actual book to enjoy with your kids. All of this is completed with a nice, fold up fire station!
My children are 3 years old and 20 months old and both of them have been continually playing with this toy since we opened it. The 3 year old loves setting up the plastic fire flames and then using the water cannon to put out the flame. The 20 month old quickly figured out how to use the “computer” and press on it to make noise and give instructions. They both enjoy the knob on the front of the fire station. When you turn the knob it gives commands and activates the lights and sirens. It also transforms the station into a Bot.
As you can tell, my little ones enjoyed this toy a lot. But what do I think? I like that the station folds up a little – to make it more square to store on a shelf. I also like that it doesn’t have a million and one little tiny pieces for me to step on or try to keep with the toy. The colors are bright and fun and as my 20 month old gets a little older he will understand how cool Transformers® are – and not just his toy! HA! I also like sets like this that carry add-on products so that we can “grow” this little collection as my kids have shown me how much they enjoy it!
If you have little ones who enjoy action heroes and pretend play, check out this great toy! Would make a perfect gift under the Christmas tree this year! Heroes are important and should play a role in every child’s life. These toys enhance the “hero experience!” With this product line, younger children can play with action heroes too! Just like the big kids!
