With the leaves starting to turn colors, we were in the mood to make our own pretty leaves. This is a craft that can easily be done by a variety of ages.
Supplies:
- Card stock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Tissue paper in fall colors
- Unsharpened pencil
Instructions:
- Draw the outline of a leaf or print a maple leaf on the cardstock or construction paper.
- Cut out the leaf.
- Cut the tissue paper into small squares.
- Wrap tissue paper around end of pencil.
- Apply glue to the tissue paper "point" and then glue to leaf.
- The youngest child used a glue stick and then just put pieces of tissue paper on the leaf.
And then we had a beautiful collection of fall leaves!
