This week Macaroni Kid Fremont had the privilege of hosting an exclusive premiere party for the soon to air, new Sofia the First movie! Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy will air on Sunday, November 23rd at 7pm on Disney Channel.

Celebrate what it truly means to be a princess with Sofia, Amber and Rapunzel in this all new movie where princesses must team up to save the kingdom! Sofia discovers that her amulet is for so much more than just talking to the animals when her sister, Amber, takes the amulet and uses it to summon a princess. Unfortunately, the princess that magically appears before Amber and Sofia's eyes is evil and wants to overthrow the kingdom of Enchancia! Sofia and Amber's every attempt to stop the princess fails... that is, until Rapunzel comes along and helps the girls come up with the perfect plan to save the day.

We had kids from 1 years old all the way to 10 years old and they all were thoroughly enthralled with the movie. It was quiet the whole length of the movie and the smiles on many faces were priceless.

After the movie, we all enjoyed a beautiful Sofia themed cupcake cake and cupcakes by Me Plus Three Cakes and their website is here.

Thank you to Rockin' Jump in Fremont for hosting our event. All of the kids had a blast jumping for an hour after the movie. I am sure the parents loved the tired kids come bedtime!

You can see the pictures from our party here. The photos were taken by Pam Hunter of PJH Photo.

The movie premiere was fun, but the fun doesn't have to end there! Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy premieres on the Disney Channel at 7 pm on Sunday, November 23rd. Some TV subscribers can also see it NOW on the Disney Junior app.

Be sure to check out all the fun printables and recipes on our Sofia the First Pinterest Board!

I received a pre-release copy of the movie and compensation to host the premiere party for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
