Review: Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue

By Jennifer Hill ~ Sponsored Content October 30, 2014
This past weekend Macaroni Kid hosted a Disney Planes: Fire and Rescue DVD pre-release screening party. Disney sent us the DVD before it's November 4, 2014 release date to watch together and share a review with our readers.

This is one that we also took our kids to the theater to see and they love it. Planes: Fire & Rescue is an awesome sequel to Disney's Planes movie starring Dusty Crophopper from the original Planes movie. A high-flying comedy adventure, Planes: Fire & Rescue is beautifully animated and I love that it puts a spotlight on the men and women who put their lives at risk to keep our national parks safe.

The parody of the old TV show "CHiPs" called "CHoPs" in the movie made parents laugh and Erik Estrada's voice topped it off. And you'll enjoy the jokes that are there for the parent's fun: "She left me for a hybrid. I didn't hear it coming."

Enjoy the world famous racer, Dusty Crophopper, as he joins an elite fire and rescue unit and learns what it takes to be a true hero. Features non-stop action, memorable characters and never-before-seen bonus features. This is a must-own animated family film.

Planes: Fire & Rescue is landing on Disney Blu-ray Combo Pack, Digital HD, Disney Movies Anywhere, DVD and On-Demand November 4, 2014! Includes an all-new exclusvie animated short "Vitaminamulch: Air Spectacular" and more!

Run time is approximately 83 minutes and the film is rated PG.
