Review: Santa Cruz Organic Agua Fresca

By Jennifer Hill ~ Sponsored Content May 19, 2016

Santa Cruz Organic sent me some bottles of their Agua Fresca Juice to share with our Summer Fun party guests and for me to review.

The kids and parents all really liked the Agua Fresca. There were a few top favorites among the kids: Mango Passionfruit and Pomegranate. The parents were all across the board among those two and the Grapefruit. The kids kept coming back for refills and were excited to be “doing a taste test.”

I agreed with the kids, Mango Passionfruit and Pomegranate were also my faves! They were light, refreshing and tasted good. They are not overly sweet like traditional juices tend to be. They taste like great flavored water. Just what I would like to enjoy on a hot, summer day.

I really love that they have about half the amount of sugar that regular juice typically has.

What is Agua Fresca Juice? A refreshing, lightly sweetened beverage inspired by Mexican traditions and blended with organic fruit juice and a splash of lemon juice – USDA Certified Organic – Non-GMO Project Verified.

The first ingredient in the Agua Fresca is filtered water. The remaining ingredients are real organic fruit juice, organic sugar, organic fruit and vegetable juice for color and organic natural flavors. At only 60 calories per serving and 14 to 15 grams of sugar, Agua Fresca can be a nice light and refreshing treat to enjoy.

Santa Cruz Organic is always Non-GMO and organic. They were the first company to offer a wide range of organic, 100% juices and blends. They were also the first juice processor to use all organic fruit. They currently offer more than 50 organic items ranging from fruit juices and lemonades to fruit sauces, chocolate syrups, peanut butters and fruit spreads.

You can find Santa Cruz Organic Agua Fresca at Whole Foods. Other local grocery stores carry other Santa Cruz Organic products so if you don’t find the Agua Fresca at your favorite store, let them know you’d like them to stock them on their shelves.
